Luigi Mangione, suspected of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, waived extradition in Pennsylvania and headed to New York straight after the hearing in Pennsylvania. Mangione’s New York charges include first and second-degree murder and terrorism-related offences. Mangione replied with ‘yes’ and ‘no’ during the hearing. He said “yes” when his local attorney Thomas Dickey asked if he wanted to waive his extradition.
