Unidentified drones return over New Jersey and New York after FAA lifts ban

Large drones have resumed flights over New Jersey and New York, with more than 100 sightings reported in the past three weeks. Enigma Labs documented 22,000 sightings in 2024, primarily in the Northeast. New Jersey remains a hotspot, with most reports describing hovering objects. Enigma’s data shows a notable increase in sightings after FAA restrictions were lifted.
