Pregnant teenager among five Ukrainians killed by Russian missile

A Russian missile strike on Izyum, Ukraine, on Tuesday killed five people, including a pregnant teenager, and injured 55 others. President Zelenskyy condemned the attack as “impossible to reconcile with this cruelty” and called for increased pressure on Russia to end its invasion. Local officials confirmed that the strike hit a residential building and the city council building. Izyum, retaken by Ukraine in 2022, is facing intensified Russian attacks in the region.
