Newly appointed FBI chief Kash Patel to be named as ATF acting director: Report

Kash Patel is set to lead the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) following his nomination as the FBI chief, confirmed by a narrow vote despite opposition from two Republican Senators. His appointment comes after Attorney General Pam Bondi dismissed ATF General Counsel Pamela Hicks on Thursday.
