Gold medallist powerlifter, 17, dies while practicing in the gym

A 17-year-old female powerlifter died in Bikaner after a 270kg rod fell on her neck during practice. The accident happened under her trainer’s supervision, who also sustained minor injuries. This was her second attempt to lift the weight. Yashtika, a gold medallist, lost balance and collapsed. The incident’s video is viral on social media.
