Cartoonist quits WaPo after daily junks her toon on owner Bezos

Pulitzer-winning cartoonist Ann Telnaes resigns from The Washington Post after her cartoon depicting Jeff Bezos kneeling before a statue of Trump was rejected. Telnaes claims editorial decisions have always respected her choices until now. Post’s opinions editor David Shipley refutes, stating the decision stemmed from avoiding repetition, not malign intent.
