EU and US condemn Bosnian Serb lawmakers’ move to block institutions

The United States, Europe, and several nations urged against any blockade in Bosnia’s Serb Republic regarding the trial of its leader, Milorad Dodik, who defied High Representative Christian Schmidt’s decisions. Such actions threaten Bosnia’s EU membership goals and violate the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement. The RS assembly seeks to boycott votes until the trial is resolved.
