The Khelo India program has received a budget increase to Rs 1,000 crore for 2025-26. The Ministry for Youth Affairs and Sports is allocated Rs 3,794.30 crore. Notably, India’s intent to host the 2036 Olympic Games is highlighted, and the Sports Authority of India gets Rs 830 crore for national camps and athlete training.
