2 teens from a Boston skating club, their mothers and coaches among passengers on downed flight

A tragic crash occurred when an American Airlines flight collided with a Blackhawk helicopter over the Potomac River on Wednesday. Among the 60 passengers were teen figure skaters Jinna Han and Spencer Lane, their mothers, and coaches Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov. All are presumed dead, with recovery efforts now underway. The skaters had just attended a development camp following the US championships. This tragedy is reminiscent of the 1961 Sabena Flight 548 crash, which claimed the lives of several US figure skaters.
